Overview:
More than 5,000 business entrepreneurs and policy-making authorities of the government will attend this international exhibition in addition to more than 10,000 visitors, reports Daily Times. Companies related to the dairy sector, poultry sector, chicken processing, food chains, fisheries, banks, telecommunication companies, hotels and fast food chains will play very active role in making the Expo a success by participating in the event. You may find some big food chain brands in this exhibition.
Besides, a place for food court, having a variety of dishes will also be established to serve visitors to the exhibition. An informative souvenir magazine will be distributed on the first day of the exhibition.
Fun Fair & Birds Show:
In order to provide a fun fair like activity for the citizens of Lahore and school going children, a collection of beautiful and colorful birds will be displayed in a place earmarked for bird show along with other recreational facilities. So it would be fun for children too if you bring them with you.
Cooking Competition:
A cooking competition for women and college girls of chicken and eggs dishes will be held on both days. Chefs of five-star hotels will be invited to adjudge first three positions and prizes would be awarded to winners. Activity Details:
Inaugural session will start on Saturday, 28th of September 2013. Muhammad Khalid Saleem Malik (IPEX Chief Organizer), Muhammad Arshad Hanif Chaudary, Dr. Hassan Sarosh Akram are the key persons for this session.
Technical Session, discussion on commercial poultry in Pakistan, Current Status of Pakistan Poultry & Future Prospects, Modern Trends in Poultry Housing & Review of Current Disease Challenges are main activities for first day of this expo. A lucky draw session is also planned for this day.
Good Poultry Feed Production Practices, Wet Litter – Reasons and preventions, Layer management in Cages, Significance of Record Keeping in Broiler Breeder Management, New Castle Disease and Its Control, Vaccine Handling and its Application, Re-Emergence of Angara Disease in Poultry & Role of Disinfection and Bio security in disease Prevention are main issues to be discussed on 29th of September, the second day.
The conclusion ceremony is planned to hold on Monday 30th September, 2013 with recitation of Holy Quran, prize distribution and few presentations on Poultry Industry and Poultry Nutrition.
